Dhayah Fort is a mud-built structure on top of a conical hill. This is the only hilltop fort in the UAE. It is surrounded by date palm gardens and Jebal Jais mountains. Put on good trekking shoes if you want to capture the 360-degree view of the Hajjar mountain from the top. It has 239 stone steps. And the climb is a steep one.
This museum is inside an 18th-century Al Hisn Fort. This museum houses some of the artifacts that date back 7,000 years. There are several treasures from the Bronze and Iron Ages. In recent times, the museum showcased a few Chinese ceramic artifacts. RAK had good maritime relations with China during the prehistoric days.
Al Jazeera Al Hamra Heritage Village, also known as the Ghost Town of RAK. It was once the traditional pearling village in the entire Gulf region. Today, it houses many ruins of abandoned houses, souks, and mosques of the Za'ab tribe, the seafarers. The buildings here were constructed using coral blocks, beach rocks, date palm fronds, and tree beams.
Falayah Fort is an 18th-century fort that was designed to be the summer palace of the ruler of the Qawasim tribe. The 1820 Peace Treaty between the British government and the Sheikh was signed here after a fierce battle.
Jebel Jais is the highest peak in the UAE. The rock formation is more than 70 million years old. It is a mountain trekkers' paradise. The winding roads and deep canyons are mesmerising. Tourists drive up the mountain to capture the scenic beauty and to experience the high-altitude dining.
Al Qassimi Palace, also called the Palace of Ambiguity, is a four-story building. It was commissioned by the late Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Qasimi. This marvel was carved out of white marble from Greece and has 35 bedrooms, prayer rooms, French and Belgian chandeliers, and Moroccan tilework.
A manmade island shaped like a coral archipelago houses several beach resorts. There are marina promenades, cycling tracks, and water sports like jet skiing. You can also sign up for private coastal cruises here.
Traditional pearling village where you get to see the pearls being harvested. You can board a traditional pearling boat to explore the coastal wetlands and mangroves. You will get a chance to try out an oyster-opening experience. If there is a pearl in the oyster, you take it home.

A Private tour is a flexible package, and the answer is yes. You can either call us regarding your change of route in advance, or you can discuss your preferred route with the driver of the vehicle we provide you.
In a group tour, you will be sharing your vehicle with other guests. If your package is for a night or private tour, you will not share your vehicle with other guests.
